Hey Hiroko,
I don't remember a Japanese food market in Townsville - there's a few resturants but that's about it I think :-) When I was in Japan, I went to Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Tokyo. I had a great time! I'm hoping go back ina couple of years again, maybe live there for a year or 2. You're adventure over the past few years sounds amazing! How fun would that be? Is your husband from Japan as well?

Oh yeah it is pretty cold! Going from North Queensland to Melbourne was a massive change. It was a drop by about 15 degrees. I still don't have nearly enough winter clothes but I'm working on that :-) So how long have you been in Australia for? I went to Japan, nearly 8 years ago now and loved it!
