Actually, my husband is from America. We met in Tokyo. This year is 7th year of our marriage.
I saw one Japanese restaurant in Townsville, but they opens only for dinner. I found one little Asian food store in town, it was not so impressive. Anyway, I hope you can live in Japan someday in your future. I am sure you have a lot of job opportunities there. Oh, I miss Japan.
It sounds so cold in Melbourne, you might need a down jacket or a heavy coat. Shopping time!! This is my fourth year in Australia. In our first year, we bought a catamaran to cruise the coral sea in Queensland from Brisbane to Whitsundays. Then I became a student at QUT for the graduate diploma in education for LOTE.
Last July, after my graduating from the course, we took another sailing trip from Brisbane to Townsville. Townsville is good. I was looking or a Japese food market in town, but I coulndn't any. Is there one in Townsville?
And again I became a student this year.
What part of Japan did you go last time? I am from Tokyo. Do you like Japanese food?
Hey guys, having a bit of trouble with the group process atm - I've just moved and started a new job which to be perfectly honest is a bit of a nightmare. Is there a job or a section of the assignment I can do/research?? I tried to be an active group member the first few weeks as I was concerned about how I'd go the next few weeks. Just let me know, even if it's after the in person meeting. Thanks :-)
Hi Amanda. We missed you in the chat session this evening. We discussed the multiple intelligences ideas some more, and talked a little about how to build the ning site around these ideas.
Those of us who are in and around brisbane are going to meet on friday morning at qut to share ideas and look at how to do things in ning.
If you have any ideas that you wish to contribute, or give us any preferences for how this is all going to pan out, please write the comments in here so that we can all find them on friday.
Hope the move is going smoothly.
